But scientist has been working on developing artificial computer that is said to work as a human brain. In this project more than million high speed ARM processors are used to simulate the processing of a human brain. Yet, the important thing is that despite of one million processors, the proposed computer will be able to model only one percent of the work that actual brain does. Amazing isn’t it?
The computer that works as human brain is called as SpiNNaker. SpiNNaker stands for Spiking Neural Network architecture. Just like human brain, electrical impulses in SpiNNaker are circulated in form of data packets and these packets are sent to all connected neurons, the units of human brain. These connected neurons are represented as equations that are solved at run time of analysis by software embedded in ARM processors.

SpiNNaker has an edge here as compared to human brain because the computer will transmit these data packets at much higher speed than actual biological connection thus the spikes will be transmitted much faster improving the speed of simulation

This kind of simulation of human brain will benefit doctors, neuroscientists and genetic engineers to analyze the complexities of human brain and will also benefit to cure complex human brain diseases and injuries.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://iprajwal.blogspot.com/2011/07/can-computer-work-as-human-brain.html' title='Can a computer work as human brain? Apple A 5 is expected to be the core processing unit of upcoming apple iphone 5.

Apple A5 uses package-on-package technology, which is an integrated circuit packaging technique that combines discrete logic and memory ball grid array packages.
These packages are arranged one above the other and a standard interface routes the signals in between them.
The main benefit of package-on-package technology is, motherboard space savings and also the RAM device is not coupled with the logic device.

The A5 processor contains ARM Cortex A9 CPU with NEON SMD accelerator and dual core POWER VR SGX543MP2 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), which can move 35 million polygons per second at 200 MHz. The processor powers DDR2 (double data rate) and 512 MB RAM (memory capacity). Neon technology is a 64+128 bit SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data), which is an instruction set that is used in the ARM architecture of A5. This instruction set provides high standard acceleration for signal processing applications. A5 is a system-on-a-chip based technology and it is a single integrated circuit chip that contains all types of signals on a single chip substrate.

iphone 5 what is new?

iPhone 5 the new and advanced iphone series which is expected to release in this year has naturally boosted excitement about it new features in iPhone lovers. There are plenty of rumors all over the internet regarding the expected features and the new technology that are used in it. As android phones are attracting large community of users, iphones are naturally losing its charm. In order to make up this the new release has to be more attractive than the current one.
Following are the most wanted features:
Please note that these are just most wanted features and doesn't mean that all features will be implemented in iphone 5. It is sure that some feature here will not be installed.

Enhanced voice control

Apple didn't show off any new voice-control features as part of its iOS 5 previews in June but it would be cool to be able to compose and send e-mails or text messages by just using your voice.

Removable battery

This well-known rendering of a future iPhone dreams of a model with a removable battery. That appears to run counter to Apple's current design principles. Though this feature is most wanted by the users the chance of implementing this is almost zero.

Expandable memory

Not happening, but just thought we'd mention it.
Chances of implementation: 0 percent

Biometric security

It's hardly a must-have upgrade, but it would be cool to swipe your finger--instead of enter a password--to unlock your phone.

NFC-enabled (near field communication technology)

Rumor has it that Apple may be working on adding near field communication technology (NFC) into the next iPhone. This is sort of a bar code replacement technology that would allow your iPhone--among other things--to act as a payment device (e-wallet) or even a car key.

More memory

A lot of people were disappointed that the iPhone 4 didn't come in a 64GB version (only 16GB and 32GB). Maybe next year we'll get 64GB.

Improved home screen and notifications system

iPhone users have been waiting a long time for a more customizable home screen, with a real "dashboard" and a better, streamlined notifications system. Apple is delivering all that in OS 5, and though the new design may fall a little short for some folks, it's certainly a huge advancement. Of course, Android users will point out that these features, including customizable widgets, have long been available on Android smartphones.

Better cloud-computing support

In previous versions of this list, we've asked for this feature, and we'll now get it with iCloud in the fall. In some ways iCloud is more restrictive than Amazon's iDrive cloud storage solution, which allows you to store all your photos and videos (Apple's iCloud has not addressed video yet), but it's a big step forward, and the fact that you can mirror your iTunes music library (regardless of where you got your music) for $25 a year is an enticing offer.

Video chat (FaceTime) over cellular network

Currently, on the iPhone 4, FaceTime only works over Wi-Fi (yes, there are some workarounds to get it to work over 3G, but Apple doesn't officially support it). In iOS 5, doing FaceTime over a cellular data network is now part of the settings menu but it looks like the carriers have control over whether it's enabled.

Flash support

This feature implementation is the last thing to expect. This is most wanted but it is almost sure that flash support will not be implemented.

Larger screen

Rumors continue to surface that Apple will be expanding the size of its iPhone screen to compete with the larger screens on Android smartphones.

Better camera

We certainly appreciate that Apple improved the camera in the iPhone 4 (5 megapixels; LED flash), but we've seen rumors that Sony is developing an even better 8-megapixel camera for the fifth-gen iPhone.

Dual-core processor

With Apple's acquisition of PA Semiconductor, it's started designing and churning out its own CPUs, including the new 1GHz <a href="http://iprajwal.blogspot.com/2011/07/apple-a5-processor.html",target="blank">A5 dual-core processor that's in the iPad 2. That same processor will almost assuredly make its way into the next iPhone. (The iPhone has an A4 processor that also runs at 1GHz, but the A4 has a single-core architecture).
LG, Motorola and some others mobiles already have dual core processor for mobile.

Improved 3D graphics

The A4 CPU has a Imagination PowerVR graphics chip integrated into it. Like the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 4 uses a PowerVR SGX535 chip. But the iPhone 5 will presumably get the PowerVR SGX543MP found in the iPad 2.

Better battery life

Every time Apple puts out a new iPhone, the battery life gets better, so we expect no less from the fifth-generation iPhone. Apple says the iPhone 4 has 40 percent more talk time than the iPhone 3GS. So, if the past is any indicator, we might see similar gains in next model.

4G network compatibility

The one big thing missing from the iPhone 4 is next-gen 4G data network support, which is probably why Apple called it the 4 instead of the 4G.

Google plus v/s Facebook

All social networking freaks were really excited about the news of new social networking site that too from web leader Google. There was a day when people used to beg for invitation from the current g+ users for joining G+ and try what is new. But is it worth that excitement?
As most of the people will be into G+ now you would find G+ is nothing but a new copy of facebook. One cannot find any innovative features in G+. For facebook user every feature seems to be exact copy of facebook, a like in facebook is +1 in G+.
G+ as taken advantage of some of the drawbacks of facebook like lack of facility for video chat. G+ hangout option is amazing video chat experience which enables users to group video chat. This feature attracted many users of facebook. But facebook recovered from this drawback soon and with the collaboration with Skype, even facebook provided with the video chat option.
Now G+ buzz seems to be decreasing. According to c-net Google+ had 1.79 million visits for the week ending July 23, a decrease of 3 percent compared with the previous week when the network had 1.86 million visits. By mentioning this statistic I remember previous social networking ventures of Google. That is Google buzz, which was similar to twitter. Buzz did not get any heed from the users. But here the case is different. Google+ got huge welcome and could attract mainly the users of facebook.
Let us watch and see who the real winner here is. Will Google+ really able to succeed in the long run with the social networking giant facebook?

PDF to Learn photoshop

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 283px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qtkxukRCZY0/Tilta43q4EI/AAAAAAAAAYI/AoLNAfgkfDg/s400/ps.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5632153117713424450" />

Want to learn Photoshop then here is a tool for you. HP touch pad is a new generation tablet PC with features that will provide the users with latest digital experience.
HP touchpad comes with WebOS and Qualcom processor. Which make TochPad to stand outside the crowd. With the special WebOS you can seamlessly move back and forth between apps without losing your place. See your related activities grouped together automatically, so you stay organized.All due to multitasking nature of WebOS. If a call or text message arrives on your HP smartphone, you can answer or reply right from TouchPad. You can experience more of the web through Adobe Flash Player. It comes with WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity.
The HP Touchpad is encased in plastic, with all edges rounded into curves. When holding the TouchPad vertically, a volume rocker sits towards the top of the right edge and a sleep button rests on the right of the top edge exactly the same placements as on the iPad. A headphone jack occupies the other corner of the top edge, and a home button that occasionally illuminates with a thin white line is centered on the bottom bezel. A micro-USB charging port sits in the center of the bottom edge, below the home button.
The TouchPad's only camera is front-facing, embedded in the bezel above the screen, and is 1.3 megapixels (no camera application is included, so taking pictures or video is out for now). An accompanying pinhole microphone records audio.

This amazing gadget comes with inbuild storage of 16GB and 32GB models. What if we use this technology in computer to pass the signal. Yes it is made possible by IBM's by developing a chip that uses light instead of electricity to pass the signals. It uses the technology called silicon photonics.
IBM developed a chip that integrates many of the necessary elements of optical communication between a processor and other devices. The design uses conventional rather than exotic chip manufacturing technology, involves very small components, and essentially permits a fiber-optic communication line to be attached directly to a processor.A single-chip transceiver of this kind with a capacity of 1 terabit per second could fit on to a chip measuring 16 square millimetres.
IBM's main aim of developing this chip is to build computers that perform very huge calculation quickly expected to be 1000 times faster than today's supercomputers.
IBM's this project is called as SNIPER(Silicon Nanoscale Integrated Photonic and Electronic Transceiver).It is not a recent projects research is being done over decade to reach this milestone.

Artist’ concept of 3D silicon processor chip with optical IO layer featuring on-chip nanophotonic network
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 224px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/TPZVetSsEMI/AAAAAAAAAUU/uiAL3yPc5WM/s400/iconchip.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5545713977195761858" />

NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 580

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 600px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/TN11gE39HQI/AAAAAAAAAUM/r9Lqw8PkYKY/s400/nvidia.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5538712310660275458" />

NVIDIA has come up with the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX580. Google is in almost all the field of computer. It has come up with its own browser, OS and now it has introduced a new programming language. Google Go is the combination of two programming languages Python and C++.
Go is designed to make the existing programming languages more efficient. This programming language has efficient compilation, execution and ease of programming. This is a mixture of ease of dynamically typed and interpreted languages with the efficiency of compiled languages. The Go language, in development since September 2007, has been unveiled by Google along with the release of a free and open source compiler.
The following code is written in Go:
Hello World in Go:
package main

import "fmt"

func main()
{
fmt.Printf("Hello, \n")
}

In order to make the easy understanding the programming language has similar syntax as that of traditional programming languages. This makes it easier for developers to adapt this language. This modified language mainly designed to support today’s parallel processing environment. The language is designed to compile the large programs faster than the traditional compilers. It is designed to simplify the creation of application which can better utilize today’s multi-core processors. The language supports the concurrent execution and communication between concurrent process. It also supports threading by using the concept called goroutine. It is function preceded by the go statement. These routines can communicate between each other by the feature called channel. This also supports synchronization.
If you are interested in programming then by this time you will be curious to know more about Go and you may have several questions in your mind. You may find the answer for them here.
Even you may find this link. as useful.

Security threat for iPhones: Duh Worm

Hackers have built a virus called Duh Worm that attack Apple’s iPhone by secretly taking control of the device via its internet connection. Duh Worm will make the online transaction of the iPhone users vulnerable to hacking. The virus has been detected in Netherland. The virus can only attack iPhones whose users have disabled some preinstalled security features.
The hackers are trying to use the virus to obtain personal details from the phone like passwords of banking sites. When the iPhone users tries to access a bank website the Duh Worm directs the browsers to a lookalike site controlled by hackers.
The only iPhones that are vulnerable to the Duh Worm are jail broken phones. Jail broken phones are those phones in which key security features given by the company are disabled. When user disable key apple security features to get around the terms of usage agreement that they are designed to enforce. For example, Apple prevents the users from switching service providers to unauthorized carriers and limits users to the approximately 100000 programs that the company has vetted for installation on the device. There are thousands of unauthorized programs covering areas like internet phone calls, Wi-Fi access and pornography.
Most of the users will not disable this system. If the virus attack occurs due to disabling of the security features then it will violate the warranty. They even cause iPhone to become unstable. It is safer for the user not to disable the security features of the iphone since it may result in the greater security risk. It will provide an open door entry for the hackers.

World's smallest watch phone- W Phone Watch

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 290px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SwuNws4-o7I/AAAAAAAAAJ8/mAlMQTfbd88/s320/kempler-strauss-w-phonewatch.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5407571645411795890" />
This post is about the world’s smallest watch phone. I could do this using Fraps.
Try, this is interesting.
DOWNLOAD FRAPS

Internet on mobile-requirements of a good internet ready phone

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SwTesJ_lgBI/AAAAAAAAAIM/nMOrDSk55lk/s400/3_xseries709848.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5405690302929666066" />
An Internet ready phone is the need of the most of the people. Now internet is not confined to desktops and laptops but it is accessible through hand held devices like mobile phones. Lots of mobile phone applications based on the internet demand good bandwidth. The speed must be very fast for applications like video streaming and live TV. Speed provided by 2G is good for e-mails or small data transfer application. But applications like video streaming and live TV need high download speed.
Only high speed internet can provide the pleasure of accessing the internet in the mobile. It can be achieved by using the 3G network. 3G can provide the downlink of 3MBps. Videos can watched as if watching in the TV without waiting for minutes for streaming.
Experiencing the internet on a mobile will be entirely different from the one in computer. Mobile phone has limitation on its screen size and the resolution. While buying a mobile phone for an internet application one should consider this feature. To enjoy the browsing a descent screen size is very important. A 5.6cm Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is suitable for mobile internet. If the screen size is very small it will be difficult to scroll and watch the whole page. A phone with touch screen will be preferred for internet mobile internet. It helps in the better navigation.
Most of the web applications today use java and flash contents. The mobile phone operating system should support java, flash and other applications that are needed for modern web. Usually mobile phones with internet facility will support java. Flash Lite software is needed to view the online videos.
The mobile phone browsers also plays very important role in a good internet ready mobile phone. A good browser should have facilities like multi tabs, zoom, and compressed downloads for faster browsing and book marks. Opera mobile offers multi tab features while opera mini compression for fast browsing. Google android and safari provide rich display of websites. Mozilla Minimo and Microsoft IE for mobiles are other popular mobile web browsers.
Most of the people in India use 2G supported GPRS/EDGE to access the internet. GPRS speed will be around 25 to 40kbps. This data rate depends on the network strength, mobile phone and traffic. If you have a 3G handset and using 2G gprs then also you will get the almost same speed.
There are different technologies in the GSM and CDMA standards that work in 3G spectrum to offer different uplink and downlink data rate. The Wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) of GSM provide maximum downlink speed of 384kBps. High speed download packet access (HSDPA) extends and improve WCDMA taking into higher speed.
Nokia N70, N73, Motorazr V3XX, LG Ku990 are some phones which support WCDMA. Latest 3G phones like Apple iPhones, Nokia N96/N97/E71, Samsung Omnia and HTC touch are HSDPA phones.

google safe search

It may not be exciting for youngsters….Google has come upon with a new feature of safe search on 11th November. It is filter for sites that contain explicit contents. It is very helpful to parents to avoid children from visiting sites containing explicit contents. Once we put the search in the safe mode then we need to enter password to change the setting.
Once the setting is done then we can ensure the safe search by finding the four colored balls on the Google search page. These will be in Google trademark colors green, yellow, red and blue.
I heard about some drawbacks in this. It is not totally secured because it can be disabled just by clearing the browser cookies. The settings must be done to every browser and to every log in accounts of the computer. However this feature is very helpful in avoiding the sites with explicit content in our search results.

This video may be helpful for you to turn on your safe search option:

3G networks:The third generation network standards

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 301px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SwTjAG8pFqI/AAAAAAAAAIU/wgSBtVVMKXo/s400/3g+phone.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5405695043755906722" />
3g is the booming mobile network standard all over the world. GSM is currently most popular cell phone network type which support both voice and data communication. But the speed of this network is very slow. It has download rate up to 14.4kbps. While the 3G network has better download and upload speed. It has up to 10Mbit/s download and 5.8Mbit upload speed.
Japan and South Korea are the pioneers of 3G communication. FDMA a Japanese company launched this service successfully in May 2001 and a Korean company SK telecom launched in January 2002.
3G uses an advanced encryption called as Kasumi. 3G network produce greater degree of protection due to this encryption. Kasumi is more powerful encryption than older A5/1 stream cipher.
3G provide faster data communication facility, which helps us to download stuff faster using mobile. We can use this for video calls and to send larger MMS. User can enjoy uninterrupted video streaming due to faster connection.
Though 3G has lot of advantages the installation of this network has been delayed in many countries due to high initial investments. Radio frequency used for 3G are different from that are used for current 2G networks. Companies have to build new infrastructure to provide this service. Now only few metropolitan cities have 3G network in India.

OneBox-Google Music Search

Now searching for your favorite music will be much easier. Now a new type of display which can effectively replace these kind of display is in the market. It is named as Surface conduction electron emitter display (SED).
SED is invented by Canon. Toshiba is producing TV having the SED display.
The surface conduction electron emitter display (SED) is a flat panel, high resolution display. Advantage of SED is its less power consumption when compare to other traditional display types. SED consumes only 50 percent of the power consumption of CRT displays and 33 percent of the power of plasma display of a comparable size. SEDs do not require electronic beam deflection unlike CRT. This makes it possible to increase its screen size above 40”.
Design:

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 190px; height: 165px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdZeeKsXrdI/AAAAAAAAAFM/2cbVhAJGFFk/s320/crt_work.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320543882144361938" />
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 128px; height: 166px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdZdnWruWNI/AAAAAAAAAFE/qztKpY8wGjU/s320/sed_work.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320542940470073554" />
The SED, based on a new type of flat panel display technology, was created through the merging of Canon's proprietary electron emission and micro fabrication technologies with Toshiba’s cathode ray tube (CRT) technology and mass production technologies for liquid crystal displays and semiconductors. It consists of a series of electron emitters similar to the electron gun in the CRT and a layer of phosphor, separated by a small space from which all the air has been evacuated. There is a dedicated electron emitter for each pixel in the display. The SED requires no electron beam focusing and operates at a much lower voltage than a CRT. The brightness and contrast compare favorably with high end CRTs. Prototype electron emitters have been developed with diameters of a few nanometers, which could yield improved resolution. They even overcome the drawback of other flat displays that is brightness and contrast.

Thin laptops-making computer stylish and efficient

Thin laptops-making computer stylish and efficient
Good things can come in small packages and that is certainly true in the world of technology. In the present computer world the computers are not only becoming powerful, they are becoming stylish too. People want their computer to be more user-friendly, portable and attractive. So the major companies are involved in producing thinner, light weight laptops. The important among them are given below.
Apple Mac Air:
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 228px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdJoWnL5K9I/AAAAAAAAADc/6SLLS_F-_y4/s320/mac-laptop-concept_9pgCc_1333.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319428847563254738" />
The new Mac Book Air is ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else. But it is more powerful with a bigger hard drive, a 4x graphics performance boost and more power for everyday tasks. Mobile computing has yet another new standard.
MacBook Air is nearly as thin as your index finger. Yet it has a 13.3inch
LED backlit display, a full size keyboard, and a large Multi Touch trackpad. It is incomparably portable without the ultraportable screen and keyboard compromises.
The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M brings amazing, highspeed
graphics to MacBook Air. With up to a 4x graphics performance boost, graphics intensive applications now run faster. Movie and video playback is now richer. Even Cover Flow flips more smoothly.
MacBook Air takes full advantage of the wireless world. It has a powerful WiFi system.

The adamo by dell:

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 278px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdJo3i4hdnI/AAAAAAAAADk/fF5J7OauRgg/s320/dell_adamo_official_2-480x448.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319429413343950450" />

Adamo is derived from the Latin word meaning "to fall in love."
Dell has taken on the Apple MacBook Air with launch of its sleek, stylish and super thin
new laptop, the Adamo. And at 2.25 pounds, it's also one of the lightest small sized portable computers. Other features include always on Internet connectivity via various wireless technologies. Intel hasn't announced an official release date but soon this will be in the market.

Future Laptops

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdEIgd2Vo_I/AAAAAAAAADU/qmbgmswc8g8/s320/future+comp1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319041988762641394" />

A lot has changed in the 20 years since the first laptop computers appeared. From many years there is a revolution in the field of laptop. We have come across lots of change in their hardware components and software. The processor speed is in gigabytes now. But we cannot make out more change in its hardware components. As we can observe that the laptops that are seen in the past and that we see now have many physical features same as before. Now it is seems to be changing from traditional design of opening display lid and the mechanical key board to more exciting features. According to Mike Trainor(INTEL Corp.) these types of laptops are likely to be in the market before 2015.

In early 1990's concept of integrated pointing device, webcam and speakers where some of the ideas which are integrated part of the device now. Today’s concept laptops are really amazing. Several concept laptops rely on touch sensitive screens that act as the system's keyboard and mouse and go beyond today's multi touch technology. Imagine being able to slide your finger across the screen to immediately shut off the display and keep what you were working on confidential, and you get an idea of its potential.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 256px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdEGkLrbSUI/AAAAAAAAADE/wMlnC7qa4J8/s320/156757_8aSpqd8f_LdRwrOT8lSDNifdD.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319039853581257026" />

The display and the keyboards are similar to the slider phones available now. The pair of super bright organic LED panels slide into place next to each other, with the lower panel acting as keyboard or scribble pad.
The whole thing is only three quarters of an inch thick. Together, the 11in. screens will yield about 16 inches of usable workspace, so the system has the dimensions and weight of a thin and light system but the screen of a larger one.
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 264px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdEF8n2-T3I/AAAAAAAAAC8/3gn-LI82DTA/s320/dual-screen-laptop_12.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319039173951115122" />

In another type, instead of a display and a mechanical keyboard, the device has two touch sensitive displays. The upper screen is primarily for viewing applications, and the lower screen is for the activities like typing, drawing and jotting notes. It can also lie flat for a large expanse of working space.
According to designer Valero Cometti, this notebook changes personality depending on how it's held. Opened all the way, it's a sketch pad. Fold it half open and rotate it 90 degrees, and it's an eBook.
By emulating a musical keyboard on the lower half, when it's flat on a table, it can be a go anywhere piano.
Beyond all these features these type of laptop is power saving since it uses led in it. This will consume much lesser power when compare to LCD display that is used today.

A CONCEPT LAPTOP BY LG<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/SdEG7XpWi_I/AAAAAAAAADM/qllUidqtaUg/s320/lg_laptop.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5319040251930774514" />

These laptops use the alternative power source, by their own energy source like methyl alcohol or natural gas will make their batteries run longer and be more independent from the electricity.

Nano morph phones

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 204px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/ScjfllSo3hI/AAAAAAAAAC0/hiYg2oxwEaY/s320/2290938959_8f4aaef005_o.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316745196869312018" />

The technology that the every research person interested about is nanotechnology. Now the same nanotechnology has become the research topic in the field of mobile technology. The leading mobile company Nokia has come forward to produce a mobile phone using the nanotechnology.
The device called as nanomorph phone is the jointly developed by the Nokia Research centre and the Cambridge University. This future mobile device could be flexible enough to transform into different shapes.

The concept uses a similar principle as spider silk, enabling elasticity in mobile devices so they could be transformed into different shapes to adjust to a specific task. It could involve a folded design to be used in a traditional mobile phone, or a larger unfolded design for displaying more information and involving keyboards and touch pads. Morph could lead to mobile devices that use transparent materials, repel dirt and fingerprints, use solar energy to charge, and use integrated sensors to provide more information about the environment.
Along with all these features it will have an ability to change the color as surrounding environment. It can also sense the touch. It will be possible to take photographs without using lens.

As we can see in the pitcher the phone can be transformed in to any shape.
We can stretch it like a keyboard.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 241px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qISMRM-lP4g/Scjd8XaxS0I/AAAAAAAAACs/Y84f9WoE2rg/s320/nokia-morph-concept.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316743389259057986" />

Important features of nanomorph phone:
It is stretchable and flexible.
Charging is done using solar energy.
Liquid battery is used.
Integrated sensors
Transparent.
Repel dust and fingerprint.
Use nano wire lithography process.
Transparent Resistive Random Access Memory (TRRAM).
Some elements of Morph could be integrated into high-end mobile devices in the next seven years. Eventually nanotechnology used in Morph could lead to lower-cost devices and allow for more functionality in a much smaller space.
This video is interesting watch it:
